by has been allllllllll over Instagram and Pinterest for good reason. It’s INSANELY GOOD. Like, when I saw it I audibly gasped. The lemon wallpaper, the lucite canopy crib… I mean, it’s the stuff of dreams (and very, very large budgets). I love it when showhouse rooms actually look like crazy, jaw dropping dream space rather than the trend of “weird and crazy for shock value”– which has been a trend for a while. It really makes me want to do a showhouse room!
I spent the weekend in western Connecticut at the lovely Inn at GrayBarns and saw an ad in a local design magazine for and fell madly in love with their work and website. This husband and wife team really have a unique but classic style I adore.
I am particularly amazed by this modern yet totally English-farmhouse feeling home called ““.
This living room is looks both influenced by Manhattan and the country in equal measure. I love the painted millwork and the color of the floors in literally perfect.
Minimalist and yet not too cold. Not exactly my personal style, but I can really appreciate the push and pull between the styles.
Those brass switchplates are making my morning.
I adore the kitchen. Classic materials like soapstone and wood counters look fresh and modern in here.
That FAUCET! (And sink. And hardware.)
The simplicity but incredible craftsmanship of these cabinets is effortless.
This home is seriously a master class in millwork.
I’d like to sit here with a good book and cup of tea, wouldn’t you?
Such simple but thoroughly thought out and thoughtFUL spaces.
Did I mention the exterior is a gem too? #dreamhouse

At a time when a lot of design magazines leave me feeling less than enchanted, the last issue of Veranda was a home run. Especially the feature on the new designed spaces at . HEAVEN. Such great design in such a beautiful location. I can so see myself here in 25 years in my J.Jill leisure separates sipping wine at 3 p.m.– glorious.
Loving this combo of red, pink and blue. Such an interesting combination done so elegantly. Loving that photograph over the sofa too!
is a decorator’s decorator. I would hire him in a minute to do my own house without question and let him just go to town. I imagine we’d have a Chip-and Joanna reveal and I would cry and hug him and all would be right in the world.
Anyways, he’s a genius with impeccable taste. Case in point, his bedroom in the . I. AM. OBSESSED.
Admittedly, I have not had time lately to peruse Pinterest that much for inspiration. We’ve been so busy that taking time to just observe has been a luxury. Last night I did however, and ended up down a rabbit hole of inspiration and landed squarely on and could not believe how many inspirational spaces I found on his site. His clear respect for the beauty and detail of old homes mixed with interiors by some of the best names in California interior design makes for a totally overwhelmingly gorgeous grouping of work!
