Take It Outside

This holiday weekend will probably have many of you planning some outdoor dining festivities and I for one, LOVE eating outside. Somehow it makes everything just taste better!  So here are two concepts for an outdoor table using the same, . How chic is this retro-inspired faux bamboo set? And totally affordable for such a large set.

One of my client’s emailed me about using burlap in dining decor and so this morning I took on the challenge of utilizing a burlap tablecloth WITHOUT it being super country and rustic looking. Great for outdoor dining, this rough fabric looks amazing set with formal china for a more “equestrian country house” look as shown here! Why not bring your nice china outside if it’s only adults dining? I’ve loved this pattern byfor so long with it’s sweet, framed country landscape in the center! Mixed with bold orange accents, orange parrot tulips (favorite), vintage inspired flatware and hints of natural horn I am flat out IN LOVE with this look!

But not everyone wants to dine formally- so here is a bold, bright, unbreakable look for the more festive of you folks! Mixing ikat, floral and stripes you can’t say it ain’t FESTIVE! And who doesn’t smile at turquoise and coral together, I mean, really. Add the gold faux bamboo flatware for just a dash of fancy and some big peonies…well, because they rock… and you have a party!
